Technical Support - Detail
Short Description
Problem
Some computers may display a dialog message titled “Themida” while running the JAWS 2018, JAWS 18, Fusion 11, or ZoomText 11 setup package. The message states :
“Cannot find ‘LocaleCommon.dll’. Please, re-install this application”
This message typically occurs at the beginning and/or the end of the install, repair, or uninstall process . This issue could be the result of miscellaneous files left over from previous installations. Or, the presence of the speech synthesizer, CodeFactory Eloquence has been know to prevent the completion of the setup packages.
Solution
Select OK each time the message occurs in order to continue.
In cases where the installation proceeds, there has been no evidence that it negatively impacts the execution or completion of the Setup Package.
If the setup does not continue, uninstall CodeFactory Eloquence, if present, and then run setup again.
