Lesson 6.1

Configuring Placement of Status Cells on the Focus

Lesson 6

1 of 2

Status cells are designated cells on a refreshable braille display designed to provide the user information, such as line number, column number, or the active JAWS screen reader cursor. The Focus contains 4 status cells which, by default, are situated on the left end of the display. You can specify whether you want the status information to appear on the left, the right, or not at all.

Please allow [02:05] to watch the following instructional demonstration on configuring the placement of status cells on the Focus display before continuing to the next topic.
