Transcript - How to Join a Zoom Webinar or Meeting

(Narrator) How to Join a Zoom Webinar or Meeting with JAWS. When the event day and time arrives, just activate the "join" link in your calendar meeting request or invitation to join the webinar or meeting. I'm going to join a Webinar that we set up for making this video. I have the email invitation open. I will activate the URL to join.

(J) Launch meeting - Zoom - Google Chrome.

(N) If this is the first time you have launched Zoom you may need to choose the link for "download & run Zoom." I will do that now.

(J) Alert, download complete, press SHIFT+F6 to cycle to the downloads bar area. SHIFT+F6, downloads bar, options menu button, window dialog, Zoom, Waiting for Host.

(N) If you enter the event before the host has joined, you may get a message like the one above. It reads, "Please wait for the host to start this webinar (or meeting)" along with the start time, the title of the event, and a "Test my Speaker" link. Leave this window open before and during the event. You may close the web page that launched it.

(J) Zoom. Alert, Freedom Scientific has joined the meeting. Alert, you are using the computer audio. Alert, the host has acknowledged your raised hand. Alert, you are in the webinar hosted by Freedom Scientific with one panelist.
