(Rachel) Skype calling with JAWS. I have Skype in focus. Like most tasks, there are several ways to perform a call within Skype. If I'd like to call someone from my recent conversations list, this is pretty simple. I'll use the command I mentioned earlier, JAWS Key+CTRL+N, November, to jump to my recent conversations list.
(JAWS) Favorites, favorite Karl Scott.
(R) I'll now press ENTER to open this conversation.
(J) Enter. Type a message edit. Opening chat Karl Scott.
(R) At this point with the conversation in focus, I have two choices: I can perform a video call with SHIFT+CTRL+K, kilo. Again, a video call with the conversation in focus is SHIFT+CTRL+K kilo. If I'd like to just call Skype to Skype on audio I'll use the command SHIFT+CTRL+P, Poppa. Again, that's SHIFT+CTRL+P, Poppa. Let's go ahead and use SHIFT+CTRL+P, Poppa, to give one of my coworkers a call.
(J) Control shift P, end call button, start call [Skype ring audio sound].
(R) Hey Carl it's Rachel, you're live on my demo.
(Karl) Great, great to hear from you. How's everything going?
(R) It is really wonderful!
(K) And the weather?
(R) Well, you know it's warm and sunny here still. In spite of everything, Texas holds onto the heat.
(K) Oh, that's fantastic. We are pretty dark and dreary at the moment, but it's all gonna clear up.
(R) All right, well, thank you so much for letting me call you for this demo.
(K) Oh, you're welcome, and I'll talk you later.
(R) Alright, have a good day.
(K) All right, bye bye.
(R) Another option you have with the conversation in focus is to TAB to the audio or video call buttons and press SPACEBAR or ENTER. If you'd like to call someone who doesn't appear in your recent conversations list, try ALT+F, W. Just jump right up into the file menu with ALT+F and W for a new call. This will open a dialog very similar to the one we went over when we were starting a new instant messaging conversation. You can search for one of your contacts and then make a call directly from that dialog.

(R) I'll use CTRL+SHIFT+P, Poppa, to answer.

When ending a call you can use the global commands that Liz discussed earlier, or if Skype is in focus you can also use CTRL+E, Echo. This is been a quick demo of how you can use Skype calling with JAWS.
